The 36 former players and sponsors seeking changes in the way Sussex is being run will have at least one voice on a new-look board.
It is a month since they signed an open letter calling for the board to resign en masse after Sussex’s disastrous £1.33m operating loss in 2024/25 became public.
There have been several resignations since – including chair Jon Filby – but ‘The 36’ want proper representation on a new-look board of directors.
Ian Poysden, a Players Club member and sponsor, ex-commercial manager Trevor Mould, as well as Matt Prior have been leading the group.
