Just when Sussex supporters had hoped that the pillaging of the playing squad at Hove was over comes the news that Ollie Robinson is on Nottinghamshire’s radar.
Eleven players have left since the extent of Sussex’s financial plight was revealed at the start of the year and it looks like it will rise to 12.
The county are not commenting officially on stories linking the 32-year-old with a move to Trent Bridge, where former Sussex coach (and player) Peter Moores is head coach.
I understand from a senior person at Sussex that no official approach has been made for Robinson, who is contracted until the end of next season.
