Not a lot will have changed when Sussex supporters turn up at the County Ground on Friday for the opening County Championship home game against Warwickshire.

But that is no bad thing.

There were a few diehards who popped in during eight days of pre-season stuff, but for most people it will be their first walk through the Tate Gates for more than six long months.

And they will find everything in its familiar place.
