Dom Goodman treasures the moment that Henry Crocombe presented him with a cap in the middle of last week’s County Championship match with Glamorgan.
“It wasn’t my official county cap – just a playing cap – but it meant such a lot to me because it was a lovely little ceremony in the dressing room before Crokes went off to join the England squad,” he said. "It really made me feel part of things."
Goodman replaced Crocombe for the second half of the Glamorgan game and immediately impressed with the bounce he can achieve from his height of 6ft 5in.
