Ollie Robinson has been the star of England’s Test summer - and his resurgence as an international cricketer is good and bad news for Sussex.
The 32-year-old picked up his third player of the match award on Sunday when England beat Pakistan at Lord’s to clinch the three-match series with one game to play.
Robinson has now taken 23 wickets at a miserly average of just 8.84 in three Tests after he picked up 8 for 35 against Pakistan.
Only two England bowlers - both left-arm spinners - have bowled better in a home series: Bobby Peel back in 1888 and Tony Lock in 1958.
