One intrepid Sussex fan has started a petition to keep Paul Farbrace at Hove.
Teddie Walmsley is gathering support online and while every Sussex supporter wishes him well there is no indication from Farbrace that he will change the decision he made on the eve of the season.
As it stands eight players are due to go as well when their contracts expire but Sussex must do all they can to keep John Simpson at the club.
It could be argued that his departure would be a greater loss to the county than Farbrace.
