Tom Price made his return after a month out with an ankle injury on Wednesday.
The all-rounder played in a strong Sussex team that beat Kent by two wickets at Eastbourne in the Second XI T20 competition.
Price took the new ball and bowled four overs for 50, before making a second-ball duck batting at No.6.
So hardly an auspicious return to action, but there is another opportunity for him to get match practice on Thursday when Sussex taken on Hampshire at the Utilita Bowl in the same competition.
