What a week it’s been for Ollie Robinson.
On Sunday he and wife Mia became parents to Eva and the Sussex skipper wetted the baby’s head not with a glass of champagne but by ripping through Pakistan’s batting on the first day of the first Test at Headingley.
After what has happened in the last few days Robinson would have felt on top of the world even before he ran in to bowl the first ball of the match and trapped Azan Awais lbw.
A few hours later he was even more ecstatic as he walked off at Leeds alongside Josh Tongue, holding the ball up to an appreciative audience after they became only the fifth pair to share all ten wickets in an innings for 74 years.
