New chairman Ed Warner believes there are 'strong underlying foundations' to build on despite Sussex's ongoing financial problems.

Warner, the 62-year-old former head of UK Athletics, has yet to speak to the media since his appointment last week after a three-month process to find a successor to Jon Filby.
