New chairman Ed Warner believes there are 'strong underlying foundations' to build on despite Sussex's ongoing financial problems.
Warner, the 62-year-old former head of UK Athletics, has yet to speak to the media since his appointment last week after a three-month process to find a successor to Jon Filby.
But he has written about his first week in the job in his latest Substack blog Sport Inc. He has been critical of cricket's leadership in past posts and said he was asked about that during the interview process.
