Another strong Sussex side made it back-to-back wins in the Second XI T20 competition after Harrison Ward warmed up for the resumption of the Vitality Blast with a rapid century against Middlesex at Radlett on Wednesday.

Ward hit 108 off 49 balls including 12 sixes and six fours as Sussex chased a target of 167 in just 12.3 overs.

Dan Ibrahim contributed 40 to a second-wicket of 90 from 50 balls with Ward as Sussex won by eight wickets.

Earlier, Jack Carson had opened the bowling and finished with 0 for 23 in his three overs.
