Henry Crocombe rested but Sean Hunt and Jaydev Unadkat return to face Surrey

Henry Crocombe, the hat-trick hero in Sussex’s last two Championship matches, has been rested for Tuesday’s penultimate home game against Surrey, his new employers from next season.
Crocombe will also miss the last match of the summer away to Hampshire following his recent England call-up. And that means that Sussex supporters will have just one opportunity to bid Henry an emotional farewell, in the last home match of the season against title-chasing Nottinghamshire next week.
Crocombe and James Coles were both named on Monday in the strong 20-man squad for England Lions’ two games against Sri Lanka on Friday and Sunday. But his omission from the Surrey game is because he is being rested after two monumental efforts in the matches against Somerset and Essex. The injured Tom Clark and Dan Hughes are also missing, and are probably for the season.
