Goodman and Hunt injuries leave Sussex's bowling attack depleted

Winter signing Goodman out for three months while Hunt will be missing for six weeks.

Sussex’s pace attack will be without the injured Sean Hunt and new signing Dom Goodman for the first block of six County Championship matches.

And in the case of Goodman, he faces a longer period out after fracturing a rib.

Director of cricket expects Paul Farbrace expects Goodman, who signed from Gloucestershire last year, to be absent until July after he suffered the injury in Sussex pre-season game against Kent last month.

Farbrace said: “Dom bowled really well on the trip to Cape Town and then in the first friendly he bowled a brilliant spell but came off complaining of a sore side. He's going to be out for three months.
