Five wins from six is a tall order, but Tymal Mills believes Sussex can still progress in the Vitality Blast

After a break for two Championship matches the Sussex Sharks return to T20 action with a sell-out match against Surrey at Hove on Friday evening.

And the message from captain Tymal Mills and director of cricket Paul Farbrace is that they need to win five of their six remaining matches to qualify.

Mills said: “We’ve done an analysis of the first half of the campaign. Our power play batting has been outstanding. But it’s been the second and third phases of the game, particularly the middle overs, which have been the problem.
