Did you watch the partial solar eclipse on Wednesday evening? Did you wear a pair of fancy glasses or squint through a colander - at the risk of getting an eyeful of boiling pasta in the process?
Followers of Sussex cricket have been watching their own eclipse these past two months, as their side have transformed themselves from a crack four-day outfit into a bunch of white-ball duffers, losing 16 out of 20 games in the Vitality Blast and the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
But now all eyes are on the County Championship once again. On Wednesday Sussex travel to Edgbaston for the first of six matches in as many weeks which will define their 2026 season.
