ECB soften their stance - Sussex might be able to sign a player on loan

Director of Cricket Paul Farbrace hopes that signing a loan player might be an option for Sussex in the next few weeks.
Farbrace was among a delegation from the club who met with the ECB recently, after the governing body told Sussex at the start of the season that they couldn’t sign anyone on loan from another county unless they were in danger of not being able to fulfill a fixture.
But Farbrace hopes their position might be softening as Sussex deal with injuries among their bowling attack and the possibility that they could lose Ollie Robinson if he gets an England Test recall.
