James Coles' meteoric rise continued on Monday with his first England senior call-up.
Nine days after making the highest score of his career – 224 against Glamorgan in the County Championship – Coles has been named in the England squad for next month’s five-match T20 series against India.
It’s been quite the year for the 22-year-old, starting when he helped Sunrisers win the South African domestic T20 title.
