I’m really excited to be captaining Sussex in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup, kicking off with a trip to Neath to play Glamorgan.
Captaincy has always been in the back of my mind. I’ve always liked to think about the game while I’m playing, and that feeds into thoughts of captaincy.
It means a great deal to me that I’ve been part of the leadership group at Sussex for a couple of years now, and I think that should really help me going into this new challenge.
